Five Ways We’re Showing Our Commitment to the Community
It’s About More than Just Installing Security Systems
As a Long Island based security firm, it has become more critical than ever for us to showcase our commitment to the community. We want everyone in our neighborhood to know we’re a company that does more than just sell security solutions.
Part of what motivates our business is that we’re part of the same neighborhood as our clients, often living right next door to many of them. Our goal is to make businesses, homes, and the community at large safer through our services. Not only that, but we love taking action in other ways by sponsoring various Long Island and NYC programs, events, and institutions which are very important to us.

The Oyster Bay Turkey Trot
Being a part of many families’ Thanksgiving traditions is an honor. Each of the last two years we’ve been the primary sponsor for the Oyster Bay Turkey Trot, a 5K walk/run that goes through the streets of Oyster Bay. Open for participants of all ages, it’s a great way to kick off the day with family and make some space for that big turkey dinner. All revenue from the race goes to local charities which last year included Friends of the Bay and Main St. Association.
Local Little League Baseball
This past year we were also one of the Diamond Sponsors for the Syosset Baseball Association. We love the league because it helps kids create stronger community ties and lead more active lifestyles. During the season not only do we serve as overall league sponsors, but we assist in providing uniforms for all the players. The new season kicks off next month as the weather starts warming up and includes players of all ages ranging from three years old to a senior division.
Nassau County Law Enforcement Explorers
We regularly interact with local law enforcement for our line of work. Unlike national security alarm system installers, it's one of the things that keeps us close to the community. Recently, we wrote a blog about a program we run with Nassau County Law Enforcement that we’re particularly proud of. The program helps to inspire the leaders of tomorrow with explorers from the age of 14-20 taking on hands-on activities that develop applicable skills for law enforcement jobs. Many of our explorers even earned awards—including the National Vice Youth Representative award—at an event last year.
The Inn
Helping our neighbors is extremely important to us, which is why we partner with a variety of non-profits. One of them is The Inn which provides support to the hungry and homeless in the area. Relying mainly on help from the community and corporate sponsors, they offer soup kitchens, emergency shelters, long-term housing, and a resource center. Our sponsorship also extends to their events, including their annual Innkeepers Ball.
Boy Scouts of America
Unlocking the real potential of our community is a significant guiding force in our sponsorships. No company has a better track record of developing the leaders of tomorrow like the Boy Scouts of America. Donations help local units take on the hands-on activities like camping, woodshop, and more that help them grow and develop into responsible adults committed to giving back to the community.
It’s just as important to support the diversity within our community. The Center is the heart and home of NYC's LGBTQ community, providing programs for health, wellness and community connection. It has been an important resource for the LGBT community, NYC residents, and visitors since it was founded in 1983. It provides an environment that helps people connect and engage, find camaraderie and support, and celebrate the growth and strength of the LGTB community.
The Center
As your local security alarm installers, we want to ensure we’re a positive impact for our community in as many ways as possible. Not only are we committed to keeping our neighbors safe, but we also want to make sure they live in a neighborhood that they can be proud of.
